Mike Tangorra graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1998 with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice.  He worked in this field as a Private Investigator for several years before transitioning to the insurance industry.  After a terrible car accident in May of 2004, Mike decided it was time to make some changes in life and began a career with Farmers Insurance and to open his own agency.  As a comprehensive agency, Tangorra Insurance represents many of the highest rated insurance carriers in the marketplace, assuring the most competitive insurance program custom built for each client.

Teresa Tangorra attended the University of Texas in 1996, majoring in Computer Science.  Teresa entered the insurance business in 1998 as a licensed property and casualty agent, as well as life and health with State Farm.  Over the years, Teresa has worked for a number of companies, including independent agencies and 3 of the top ten insurers in the state of Texas.  In 2005, joining her husband, she brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the commercial lines division.  Today, Teresa continues to expand the agency’s commercial lines footprint throughout Texas.

Farmers Career Agent of the year- Starting off our career with Farmers Insurance in 2004, we held the achievement of being career agent of the year for 2005.
